On the Ranch

On October 13th from 10:00am to 2:00pm, Northern Nevada Farmers’ Markets will be joining with Kiley Ranch to participate in the Fall Harvest Festival and benefit the Food Bank of Northern Nevada!  Get there early to receive your FREE Kiley Ranch organic cotton grocery tote, then enjoy shopping all your favorite Farmers’ Market vendors for fresh produce and other specialty items. Don’t miss the last area Farmers’ Market of the season!

The Food Bank of Northern Nevada will be kicking off their Holiday Food Drive this year at the Kiley Ranch Fall Harvest Festival.  Last year the Food Bank collected over 242,000 pounds of food during the holidays and with your help we can get off to a great start in October!  The Food Bank works with many local agencies to provide meals to low income families and seniors in our area.  Please bring your cash and food donations to the Fall Harvest Festival at Kiley Ranch On October 13th to benefit the Food Bank and feed the hungry in our community…and get a free pumpkin!  Click here for more information on the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.

Friday, September 28th Kiley Ranch will be a participating sponsor in the Inaugural Reno Tahoe YPN Leadership Summit.  The YPN is the local Young Professionals Network that strives to cultivate an involved and informed local young professional community in order to retain and attract young talent to our region.  You can get more information about YPN and attending the Leadership Summit on their website.  Stop by our booth at the Grand Sierra and say hello!

Yesterday, September 6th, Kiley Ranch participated in the first ever Reno area NAIOP Bus Tour. In case you were wondering, NAIOP stands for National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. Since Kiley Ranch has over 100 acres dedicated to Office Space and Business Park, it was a great chance to get together with other industry professionals and learn about available properties in town as well as share information about our own. The Reno area is growing rapidly and their are thousands of new jobs becoming available as a result! What an exciting time and place to be!

The Kiley Ranch pumpkin patch is underway and growing strong…Did you know that pumpkins range in size from under 1 pound to over 1000 pounds? And 80% of the US pumpkin supply is available in October? Make sure to get out to the Kiley Ranch Harvest Festival on October 13th and pick out your very own pumpkin and help support the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
